Contemporary copy of a Mar. 20, 1736/37, letter from Thomas Lawrence, Philadelphia commission merchant and mayor, to the London? firm of Storke and Gainsborough, regarding the status of and accounts for goods shipped by particular vessels and the deleterious effect of the Pennsylvania-Maryland boundary dispute on the Indian fur trade. The copy is followed by a May 20, 1737, note from Lawrence, forwarding the copy and discussing further shipments.
